Commercial Assistant Inside Sales
Your role
As a Commercial Assistant Inside Sales, you are responsible for supporting the purchasing and sales teams.
You will do this by performing various administrative and customer-oriented tasks.
You play a crucial role in monitoring customer satisfaction and promoting sales of packaging solutions.
You are part of a small flexible and dynamic team, under a large umbrella organization, namely the P&D Group.
Your responsibilities include:
- Function as first point of contact for customers via phone, email and other communication channels;
- Preparing quotations and entering orders;
- Managing the entire order process;
- Monitoring inventory and coordinating shipments and deliveries;
- Monitor trends and developments and gather information on competitors, pricing and product innovations to support the team in developing effective sales strategies;
- Relationship management to strengthen relationships and identify new sales opportunities;
- Professionally handle complaints to the satisfaction of customers.
Your profile
- MBO+ working and thinking level;
- Good communication skills, both oral and written;
- Experience within a similar role, preferably within the packaging industry;
- Customer-oriented, organizational and team player;
- Basic knowledge of Excel and experience with AFAS (preferred).
