Finance Manager
About your role
As Finance Manager, you are responsible for managing the administration team and Financial Control at the group level, acting as the financial link between the subsidiaries of the P&D Group, management, and control.
You work closely with the Business Controllers and Financial Controller, and it is your task to further establish finance both within the Group and within the entities.
In addition to operationally managing the administrations, you are also (co)responsible for the monthly closing and implementing improvements within the finance organization. You have the opportunity to contribute to the further (rapid) growth of this organization and assist with new acquisitions. Furthermore, you are responsible for:
– Reliable, complete, and timely recording of the administrations of the P&D Group and its subsidiaries
– Identifying and reporting improvement proposals and bottlenecks within the financial processes
– Responsible for managing, coaching, and developing the administrators of the companies (7 individuals), both remotely and on-site
– Inspires, motivates, and coaches employees, implements performance and vitality management. Ensures that knowledge and skills remain at the desired level for optimal execution of their roles
– Responsible for consolidation, monthly and quarterly closing
– Implementing improvements and automation regarding financial processes
– Responsible for setting up new administrations in case of acquisitions, approximately 2 to 3 on an annual basis
– You play an active role in various (finance) projects, such as migrating new subsidiaries to the ERP solution (AFAS), optimizing the functioning of (finance) processes, and further establishing the reporting structure. You do this in close collaboration with the business controller and financial controller
– You lead the process of annually preparing the financial statements and the auditors’ review
Your profile
For this role, we are looking for a driven leader who gains energy from a structured, accurate finance organization and building/forming a team. You have solid experience with business administration and its processes. You have the potential and ambition to make an impact at P&D and take the next steps forward with this organization. Additionally, you bring:
– A degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration;
– Leadership experience and possess coaching skills;
– A helicopter view;
– A strong accounting foundation;
– The drive to optimize and always look for new opportunities to make the organization run more efficiently;
– Good Excel skills;
– Knowledge of AFAS (a plus).
